A&G is looking for a hybrid role of an Associate Video Editor/Videographer to join the in-house production and post production team called Third Space Studios. This person will help create and produce video content across various clients and verticals. The position requires fundamental design experience and should be a creative thinker and storyteller. This is a hands-on position ideal for a self-starter and creative mind, experienced in the full video production process from concept to completion and distribution. We are looking for someone who has a passion for video production and storytelling. Candidates should be technically fluent with current styles, standards and trends, for social media, streaming and broadcast.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Interpret and understand project objectives

2. Develop and maintain a visual direction for various brands; planning, scheduling, and preparing for shoots; review and quality control of all videos

3. Create and develop video assets in post-production including string outs, rough cuts, integration of animation and static graphic elements, and audio mixes leading to final deliverables

4. Ingest, edit and finish videos, audio mixing, motion graphics, compression of video footage, duplication and storage

5. Coordinate and execute ongoing projects with producers, maintain efficiencies during project execution

6. Assist on video shoots and manage all equipment needs

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on production and editing experience

• Post-production experience for broadcast workflows and internet standards including basic knowledge of frame rates, aspect ratios, color spaces and codecs

• Knowledge of the Adobe Suite of products including: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition & Media Encoder. Davinci Resolve is an added value.

• Experience with motion GFX by utilizing After Effects & Photoshop

• Digital asset management and video compression

• Rudimentary knowledge of basic camera packages, audio and lighting setups

• Assist on nimble video shoots including but not limited to interviews, content capture or B-roll at times, occasionally without supervision

• Ability to carry equipment to location sites & setup cameras, lights and sets

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

• Ability to follow direction from the creative team including Art Directors and Copywriters and work under deadlines given by Project Managers and Producers

• Candidates are encouraged to submit video examples of their prior work

• Post Producing Experience is a plus but not required

• AI knowledge is a plus but not required
