Havas Media Group North America, the Media Experience agency, is looking for a Supervisor to join the Communications Strategy Team, part of our global community of 10,000 team members who are focused on using Meaningful Media to make a meaningful difference to brands, businesses, and people.
Our Strategists deliver market leading insights, communications strategies and innovative ideas that power media experiences. The Supervisor Communications Strategy will be aid in distilling insights and developing the strategic narrative for client plans. You will be part of a team that is charged with establishing the mechanics of the campaign—the key opportunities across the CDJ, communications tasks and appropriate roles for channels—to address business challenges. The right candidate will have a blend of data-minded research capabilities as well as nimble creative thinking to create strategic ways forward for clients.
A DAY IN THE LIFE MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
- Works with senior strategy & planning to “own the brief” and ensure the business goals and marketing objectives are clear
- Collaborates with Intelligence team on Consumer, Category, Brand, and Culture insight development
- Collaborates with Audience & Data Strategists to ensure strategic frameworks are complimentary and integrated with actionable audience architectures
- Develops & delivers the Mx Brief and Strategy based in solid insights
- Able to present and build compelling brand narratives for strategic framework & media activations
- Partners with cross-discipline teams to refine strategic opportunities and ensure these pull through across planning, activation, and measurement
- Contributes to thought leadership research and presentations and provides trend and insight updates as needed
- Contributes to process documents and ways of working
- Helps to develop materials and structures for client and interagency workshops
- Liaise with client teams to produce best business outcomes and effective, innovative media plans for local clients
- Contribute to new business pitches
WHAT YOU’LL NEED/SKILLS:
- 2-4 years professional experience
- Exposure to Media, Brand or Consultancy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong research & data capability/ interest
- Familiarity with audience insights tools (e.g. MRI, Simmons, IPSOS, Helixa, YouGov)
- Familiarity with research tools (including cultural mapping, social listening, competitive)
- Familiarity with planning tools (e.g. Nielsen Media Impact, NPower,TvViews)
- Familiarity with audience measurement tools (i.e. Comscore, Nielsen)
