Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with duties that include developing measurable strategic plans to foster expansion, developing effective marketing and communication plans, and ensuring bank product offerings and service support meets client expectations. Job expectations include serving a lead role in the coordination of complex Request for Proposal processes together with the Treasury Sales teams, building partnerships with business partners and key client decision makers, and completing portfolio business reviews with a focus on revenue realization.

We are looking for a Treasury Sales Client Officer (TSCO) for Global Commercial Bank clients. This TSCO will coordinate their client activities with global and regional support partners, as required, to ensure that both client and bank objectives are effectively met.

To be successful in the role, the TSCO must maintain a strong client focus, and must build a strong internal network across the region. The TSCO will be required to manage multiple competing priorities with an understanding of the bank, the operational aspects of the products and services, and the key risks to the institution.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a client focus, treasury industry expertise, client subsector expertise, and a broad understanding of the bank's structure

  • Drives revenue and profitability growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting clients with both strategic and tactical needs within the region of coverage

  • Develops data driven insights and presentations for clients, including recommendations to reduce risk, improve working capital, and digitization of payments/receipts, etc.

  • Participates in the Client Management Process that focuses on client relationship development from growth of new client relationships to deepening existing relationship through thoughtful identification of client needs

  • Builds relationships with internal business partners and key client decision makers and completes account/portfolio business reviews

  • Ensures service and fulfilment related requests/queries are directed to the relevant teams accordingly, responding to all client and partner requests in a timely manner, and keeping stakeholders up-to-date on progress

  • Maintains pricing for clients (pricing changes, new services) and ensures all products and services are billed accordingly, while managing client escalations and keeping the internal team informed

  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial banking clients with low/medium complexity for Global Treasury related solutions

  • Act as the main client coverage for Global Treasury related needs, facilitating all aspects of the client and bank requirements including Implementation and Client Service coordination, pricing and billing changes and client selection

  • To be successful in the role, TSCO must maintain and build a strong client focus, and awareness and understanding of the bank and operational aspects of the products and services used by clients in addition to possessing good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Schedule and perform client portfolio reviews, and cross sell Treasury products and services

  • Leverage tools, systems and resources to ensure appropriate understanding and ensure accuracy within these client relationships and the wider portfolio

  • Respond to all client and partner phone/email requests in a timely manner and keep stakeholders up-to-date on progress

  • Clear any implementation obstacles in order to maintain client momentum and speed time to revenue

  • Review competitive and client data to compare pricing across a portfolio to maintain optimal profitability

  • Assist clients in navigating the bank by educating the client on the Client Service and Fulfillment model as well as other partners roles/responsibilities.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of all treasury management products to recognize opportunities for efficiency
