Job Summary:
We are seeking a communications professional to help manage external communications for Bank of America in Asia Pacific. This role is focused on media relations, particularly in Greater China, serving as a point of contact for media enquiries, proactive promotion of key bank initiatives and helping manage issues. The role also contributes to all aspects of the broader Communications, Marketing and Corporate Affairs team in Asia Pacific.
Primary Responsibilities/Activities:
- Help actively manage the reputation of the bank’s business in Asia Pacific by participating in the creation and execution of communication campaigns aimed at helping external stakeholders understand the bank’s business offering.
- Work closely with the regional Communications team on initiatives and issues management.
- Be a point of contact for local and international media enquiries.
Skills Requirements/Qualifications:
- Exceptional track record in corporate communications with 10+ years’ experience within a multi-national financial services organization or similarly complex organization.
- Understanding of Asia-based business media with established media relationships.
- Ability to develop and execute a communication plan across multiple countries in Asia Pacific.
- Business driven with strong financial acumen - understands the corporate/investment banking and global markets sources of revenue and product set.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- An enthusiastic self-starter who takes pride in the delivery of one’s work.
- Be professionally curious.
- Bring a positive, solution-focused approach to the workplace.

- Exceptional writing skills in English. Having Asian language capabilities are preferable.
