Job Description:

This role is responsible for providing:

  • Business analysis in Equity Technology covering Equities Trading, regulatory, and risk & control initiatives with expertise Equities Trading platforms, good understanding of front‑to‑back trading lifecycle including order management, execution, compliance, post‑trade and reporting
  • End‑to‑end ownership of business requirements, solution design, and delivery outcomes for large, complex change initiatives.
  • Combined business analysis and project management capability to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery in a fast‑paced trading environment
  • Strong partnership with Front Office Trading, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology stakeholders
  • Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and delivery challenges and lead mitigation actions across teams and regions
  • Provide informal leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior analysts and delivery team members as required

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex business analysis engagements, including requirements elicitation, functional specification, user stories, and solution validation
  • Act as a delivery or workstream lead, managing plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and senior stakeholder communications
  • Partner with Front Office Trading and cross functional teams (Legal & Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology) to understand business needs and deliver compliant, pragmatic solutions
  • Facilitate workshops, deep dive analysis and solution discussions drive decision making through clear analysis, impact assessments, and options evaluation
  • Operate effectively within Agile and hybrid delivery models, contributing to backlog management, sprint planning, and release readiness

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of Business Analysis experience within Financial Services, with strong hands‑on experience supporting Equities Trading businesses
  • Deep understanding of equities products and trading workflows, including order lifecycle, execution, allocations and post‑trade processes
  • Proven track record of delivering large, complex initiatives with a high degree of stakeholder complexity and cross‑functional dependency
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and structured thinking skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics
  • Excellent business writing and communication skills, including experience producing materials for senior management and executive stakeholders
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments, collaborating with developers, QA, and product teams, with strong hands‑on proficiency in Jira, Visio, standard MS Office tools, and familiarity with AI‑assisted productivity tools

Desired Skills:

  • Strong product knowledge across Cash Equities, Delta One, Swaps and related equity derivatives
  • Familiarity regulatory requirements and data standards, particularly around order lifecycle and reporting
  • Confident in operating in a hybrid BA / PM role, coordinating delivery across frontoffice, technology and operations teams
  • Prior experience working in a global Equities Technology environment within a large investment bank
