The SVP, Performance Media Client Lead role at MissionOne Media is about more than just account management. As the connector between clients, partners, and the agency, the SVP, Performance Account Lead manages the activity of a portfolio of performance accounts. The role requires someone with a performance media background who knows how to run a business. A visionary, relationship builder, lending momentum and achieving results for assigned businesses and someone who builds and leads the performance review process for the team. Success on the accounts is seen through creating an environment for great work, being responsible for the profitable delivery of services, holding key client relationships and fighting to put forth the best media work alongside the overall strategy of the client. Leading by example, they embody the mold for what successful account management looks like.
Responsibilities
- KPIs - 1) Retention of Performance Media Accounts 2) Manage Profitability of Performance Media Accounts 3) Organic Growth on existing Performance Media Accounts
- Architect roadmap for multiple brands to expand customer base and profitability, working closely with BarkleyOKRP client experience, M1M Media planning, integrated activation & analytics and in some cases Creative & strategy to set voice and tone in the marketplace.
- Oversees P&L for assigned group of client business; negotiates contracts and billing with clients; makes key staffing decisions to optimize performance of the business.
- Advocates for best-in-class media product, selling cross-channel strategic outputs that effectively build brands.
- Uses astute business acumen to partner with senior-level clients to understand marketing needs and objectives, building a deep rapport within the clients’ marketing organization along the way.
- Senior-most decision-maker with regards to oversight of media execution. Utilizes extensive knowledge of performance media to guide team through the process.
- Identifies business growth opportunities, mobilizing internal resources to pursue organic growth opportunities that drive revenue for the agency while at the same time expanding the clients’ positioning in their respective category.
- Partners with internal senior leaders across planning, activation, strategy, and Operations disciplines.
- Supervises department management on assigned account(s), providing feedback, guidance and development opportunities. Leads by example.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience: Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in an advertising agency working on digital Performance Media clients.
- Strong knowledge of Google ad ecosystem, Bing
- Entrepreneurial spirit. Openness and ability to wear many hats and get hands dirty when necessary.
- Software: Proficiency in MS Office applications? (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Communication: strong written and verbal communication required with senior stakeholders; ability to present well and read a room
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail
