We are searching for a collaborative and passionate Public Relations & Influencer Account Supervisor with prior experience in B2C and B2B communications, including work with clients in the financial services/banking and healthcare industries, as well as experience in influencer marketing. We desire detail-oriented team members who believe in collaboration and client service.
Responsibilities:
Manages and leads multiple client relationships and accounts within the agency
Builds and maintains positive working relationships with the media and influencers
Identifies key media contacts and influencers relevant to accounts and client needs
Provides insights, trends, and changes in the media and influencer landscapes for clients
Executes influencer outreach and negotiations, management and measurement of influencers on behalf of clients
Develops strong pitches and storytelling opportunities for clients; experienced in pitching and securing earned media
Builds and delivers earned media and influencer campaigns with strategic objectives and amplification for brand channels
Manages onsite execution of activations with influencers and media, including client, vendor, and partner relationships
Utilizes media and influencer monitoring and research tools; identifies appropriate measures to evaluate the success of a major project, campaign or event
Demonstrates a thorough understanding of, and follows, best practices and trends for PR and influencer industries
Provides leadership and mentoring to PR team members and agency partners
Client needs are anticipated and met; team members are motivated and work load is balanced; client and media relationships are healthy and productive
Develops workable budgets, strategic plans and realistic time tables
Develops recommendations, strategy and action plans for meeting client goals
Participates in new business as required as well as leads professional development courses/classes as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience required
Minimum 6 years of strategic and executional PR and/or influencer work, preferably some of which has been in an agency environment
Ability to work autonomously, lead projects and work collaboratively on a team
Ability to provide sound and responsible public relations and influencer counseling and planning
Ability to properly plan and execute work in all areas, producing a consistently superior end product that is client-ready
Impeccable attention to detail and stellar organizational skills
Excellent communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience working with professional services clients and highly regulated industries
Experience pitching national, regional, local and trade news media and securing interviews and earned media coverage for clients
Conceptualizes, writes and distributes content for clients including thought leadership, awards, blogs, guest columns, op-eds, technical pieces and other long-form content
MS Office, Outlook and Excel experience required; experience with PR platforms such as Muck Rack, Qwoted, Releasd, Sprout, CreatorIQ and others preferred
