Position Profile:
Responsible for managing the complete life cycles of business and projects. Projects are technically complex, including approval, planning, execution, and closeout to ensure a successful deliverable. Must be able to audit and report on budgets and timelines, ensure progress to plan, as well as track all critical milestones. Vendor management, as well as all interdepartmental coordination, is required. Must coordinate the tasks of all cross-functional teams, including
exempt and nonexempt employees. Defines the project's objectives and ensures all risks are communicated on a daily basis to all stakeholders and corporate personnel. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. Act as a go between the PMO and the department PMs.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete ownership of the program/project(s) assigned to them. Manages all assigned projects to completion, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting budgetary demands

  • Although non-technical, the candidate must have Working knowledge of IT, networking, and edge-access technologies. Knowledgeable enough to asking to challenge and probing questions

  • Provides research and assistance to the project team in the development of new projects, including plans, budgets and performs a risk assessment item assigned

  • Works closely with PMs and PMO other Breezeline Personnel to ensure Scope, budget, and schedules are adhered to

  • Follow PMO methodology to manage budgets, risks, and changes for all Financial Management.

  • Ensuring the PMs are maintaining all information for formal briefings, update meetings, and written, electronic, and graphic reports for stakeholders. Able to escalate issues and risks in a timely fashion.

  • Oversees the program/project cross-functional agreement on timelines, budgets, and risks

  • Ensuring RAID logs are up to date, addresses problems through risk management and contingency planning, and presents solutions and/or options to executive management.

  • Able to persuade and influence at all levels of the organization

  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment with high volume.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.

  • Must be able to work nights and weekends and variable schedule(s) as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • BA/BS or Equivalent experience in telecommunications, IT, networking, or a related field

  • 3-5 years of project management experience

  • Minimum 3 years experience in CATV coaxial/fiber construction and design.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to determine priorities

  • Ability to coordinate and interact with all levels of customers (internal and external)

Tools and Methodology:
Working experience in:

  • Experience in project financial management, creating and managing budgets up to 5 million dollars

  • Experience in Vendor Management

  • Configuring and working in Jira

  • Setting up projects & programs in Smartsheets, able to create ad-hoc Smartsheet dashboard on the fly

  • Working knowledge of Google apps

  • Experience using GIS mapping

  • Experience in creating policy based on PMI Waterfall, Agile, and High-Bird methodologies

  • Project plan creation and management

  • RAID and change management
