About The Job

Position Summary:

Breezeline is actively seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team! This role will report to the Manager, Finance Business Partners and work to build strong partnerships across the organization, track and report on financial performance, as well as provide analysis and guidance to support opportunities. This role will be highly visible and cross functional with exposure to the senior leadership team. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, possess a natural curiosity, and be driven to make an impact as a trusted advisor to the business.


  • Support/create budgets, forecasts, and business plans through collaboration with stakeholders across the organization

  • Partner with assigned business functions and management to track financial performance, provide financial guidance, updated forecasts, and analysis to guide decision making and strategy

  • Research and communicate monthly/quarterly/operational variances in preparation for month-end close meetings

  • Provide financial guidance to business unit management, proactively recommending actions, and highlighting risks and opportunities

  • Recommend and drive implementation of best practices, operational efficiencies, and cost management initiatives to business management and Senior Leadership

  • Strengthen communications both within the Finance organization and across business management

  • Create presentation materials to effectively communicate results and actions

  • Attend weekly/bi-weekly staff meetings communicating applicable financial topics with a focus on proactivity

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive short- and long-term objectives

  • Facilitates ongoing compliance with internal procedures, policies and best financial practices

  • Drive and own high visibility projects and analyses as assigned or as needs are recognized

  • 10-20% travel as necessary for projects and priorities


  • 2-5 years’ experience working in a finance related role (industry experience not required)

  • Undergraduate degree in a business-related field with an emphasis in finance and/or accounting

  • Highly proficient with accounting principles, financial terms, budgets, and financial reports

  • High degree of maturity, honesty, trust, and integrity

  • Ability to partner with all levels of an organization

  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills

  • Self-starter, creative thinker, and solid analytical problem-solving skills

  • Willingness to own and drive topics/projects to completion

  • Strong and effective communication skills (both oral and written)

  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Google Sheets and Slides experience a plus)

  • Proficient with Financial Systems (Workday experience a plus)
