Senior Education and Development Communications Specialist

We're hiring a Senior Education and Development Communications Specialist!
This role will be responsible for promoting, explaining, and elevating education, development, and curriculum at Bright Horizons through managing and developing multimedia communications and related collaborations, including, but not limited to: internal and external communications; Growth/client team support; external PR; social media team, and development of communication and amplification plans for key department initiatives. Serve as an education & development department brand ambassador on all internal and external channels and with all internal teams.
What you will be doing in this role:
Manage all incoming requests from marketing teams (including center marketing, social, and content), client/growth team, PR, internal communications, and other partners. Requests include, but are not limited to, education-related content for all internal BH partners, client communications for all stages of the relationship, social media content review, internal channel post review and management.
Support the implementation of communication and promotion plans for education and development department products, programs, and initiatives that ensure awareness and contribute to adoption.
Contribute to the development of a wide range of communication materials to articulate key messages and strategic initiatives using a variety of tactics, including written communications, video communications, presentation materials, digital internal platforms, Microsoft Teams, meetings, etc. that contribute to an increased awareness and engagement with our early education and parenting support materials, including articles, social media, video, etc.
Support key department stakeholders to identify and set plan for external opportunities to build the thought leadership brand in collaboration with education leaders and marketing.
Act as key point of contact for all requests for RFP and presentations from Growth and Client Liaison teams.
Manage library of boilerplate content
Customize copy and responses as needed
Write and edit communication copy, as needed.
What we hope you will bring to this role:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications/marketing or closely related field - Required
3 years Experience - Required
Two years of previous related work experience; high-level of proficiency with computers and other technology required, including experience with Word, Power Point, and Excel (InDesign or Photoshop desired); and writing and editing/proofreading experience in documents, presentations, and proposals - Required
Excellent proactive and detailed communication skills are essential.
High level of competence and ability to stay current with communications and social media technologies.
Comfortable in a brand ambassador role.
Strategic and creative problem-solver. Responsive versus reactive.
Demonstrate high level of customer service and ability to meet critical deadlines in an efficient manner.
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Demonstrated learner and problem solver with a “can-do”/ optimistic attitude; collaborative and flexible; creative; and must be able to work with a remote team across time zones.
Ability to build relationships and collaborate while balancing focus on outcomes in a remote/virtual work environment
The salary for this position is $65,000.Compensation Range: 65,000
