Primary Purpose

The IT Financial Analyst will lead process improvement and drive business process efficiency, compliance and improvements to users or teams across multiple systems and processes. The IT Financial Analyst will collaborate with different individuals and teams within the IT organization and collaborate with the Finance and Procurement on all project requests or initiatives.

What you will be doing:

  • Create & Manage project Capital Appropriations Request(s) through entire process

  • Create & Manage Purchase Order and Purchase Order Change Requests through entire process

  • Manage monthly project(s) forecast and monthly review of forecast results

  • Manage monthly invoice process ensuring no Match Exceptions occurs

  • Financial Support of IT – provide financial support for all proposed

  • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement team on all IT monthly reporting needs

  • Ad-Hoc project work on an as needed basis

Decision Making

  • Exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matter of significance

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to analyze raw data, draw conclusions and document conclusions effectively

  • Detail and process-oriented; able to analyze current processes, define and implement improvements

What we hope you bring to the role:

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (or working towards degree) is required.

Experience

5 - 7 Years of experience in Accounting or Finance is required

7 years minimum of additional years of experience that would be considered in lieu of the applicable degree.

Additional Job Requirements

  • Working knowledge and understanding of Workday Financials preferred

  • Highly developed proficiency in Excel (vLookups and formulas) and PowerPoint

  • Firm understanding of accounting concepts and experience with accounting information systems

  • Ability to multi-task and contribute successfully to cross-functional teams

  • Very customer-focused; able to provide best-in-class service to our internal / external customers

  • Strong attention to details; Strong time-management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in teams and build consensus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Experience developing process documentation and business requirements
