Information Security Systems Analyst is responsible for the security aspects of design, construction, test, and implementation for Infrastructure, support, and application development projects. The candidate will conduct assessments and identify information security risks to the enterprise associated with these areas. He/she will also facilitate the mitigation of these risks through security requirements and new/existing technologies. The Information Security Systems Analyst will define, track, and maintain standard baselines and configuration sets for all managed and/or monitored security devices and implement industry best practices with regards to IT Security controls.

• Develop and execute technological information security requirements and solutions to meet global regulations and policies and in conjunction with company standards.
• Perform current system or platform security analysis and documentation.
• Produce a quality work product while addressing risks and meeting allotted completion timeframes.
• Act as a security liaison between IT, Applications and Sales teams.
• Provide direction to other teams and contractors at varied implementation levels.
• Assist in the evaluation of 3rd party vendors involved in information security projects and processes; partnering with selected vendors where needed.
• Review access logs and security alerts, promptly addressing issues where necessary.
• Participate in breach and information security related investigations, documentation, and remediation.
• Building and maintaining policies and reports for all security monitoring tools in corporate and public facing environments such as web and email DLP, SIEM, enterprise AV, IDS and AD.
• Running vulnerability scanning and coordinating remediation with a cross-functional team
• Review of IDS alerts
• Keep up-to-date with information security trends, driving appropriate changes through the enterprise.
• Conduct evaluations of new security technologies.
• Provide information security expertise in infrastructure platform support throughout all phases of break-fix (problem identification, resolution, test, deployment, and turnover).
• Providing technical information security leadership in varied phases of infrastructure and application project life cycle and processes (design, review, build, test, deploy).
• Participate in infrastructure strategic planning and budget process.
• Effectively communicate relevant security information to superiors.
• Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
• Understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully in both written and verbal conversations.
• Keep teams well informed of security requirements and changes within the organization.

Job Requirements – Education/Experience
Education
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Network Security or a related field
Preferred: Master's Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, Computer Science, Network Security or a related field
Experience
Required: 3 to 5 yrs of working experience in Information Security
Additional Job Requirements
• Works under the direction of the Senior Director of Information Security
• Works with System Administration and Networking team members in the area of project planning, infrastructure and support through design and remediation in order to reduce vulnerabilities across the enterprise.
• Assists with implementing technology initiatives within the company, vendor relations and selection of hardware, software and networking related products. Assists with managing all internal and external application resources in US and internationally.
• Works with Senior Director of Information Security on client facing engagements and security awareness events.
• Works with the Application Development team to ensure data security and privacy issues are part of the project process.
• Programming, QA, Windows or Unix system administration experience instead of information security experience may be considered for candidates with who meet the education requirement.
• Experience automating security tooling, alerting and remediation workflows, especially security enrichment, reduction and correlation.
• Vulnerability management experience, focused on prioritizing known vulnerabilities for remediation at scale and classifying previously unknown vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language (JavaScript, Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell)
• Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Visio
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, OSCP, GPEN, GCIA, CEH, Security+) recommended
• Able to travel to selected sites (1 or 2 trips per year)
• Experience working with Managed Security Service Providers for Security Monitoring, Application Security, etc.
• Strong analytical, organization, and decision-making skills
• Provide expertise and support to management and business functional areas, as requested, when a business disruption occurs
• Strong verbal/written communications
• Ability to work in fast paced priority demanding environment
Compensation Range:
The annual salary range for this role is: $75,000-$100,000 per year

Actual compensation offers will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
