Job Description

The Compensation Analyst will work collaboratively with Compensation and Human Resource partners to develop, implement, and administer compensation programs.

The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for operational support including reporting, data maintenance, survey participation, and other compensation related activities. Ensuring requirements are captured and process improvements are identified, this also includes preparing process flows, compiling technical requirements, and ensuring that data quality standards are met. The Analyst will also maintain ownership of standard reporting and must have the ability to work with complex datasets, pulling data from various sources. Answering questions from both colleagues and other HR team members, the Compensation Analyst must be able to think critically and provide clear and direct support.

Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

  • Administrative support of job and pay changes
  • Providing support to business partners and colleagues on various compensation inquiries
  • Partner with the Compensation Team to create and maintain solutions to assist with reporting, analytics, and recommendations.
  • Administer base Pay programs including annual performance review/merit increase cycles, promotions and other adjustments
  • Ownership of standard reporting and ability to work with complex and large datasets
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses of compensation data, model financial and organizational impact of programs, and assist in the translation of business strategies to effective compensation programs.
  • Develop and document procedures to streamline processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytical or compensation role, preferably in financial services
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong business judgement and an ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
  • Power user in Excel (complex formulas, lookups, graphing functionality)
  • Strong MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Experience manipulating large data sets and data management activities
  • Must be well organized, detail oriented and confident to work independently as well as a strong team player

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: M-F
