Job Description

As the Commercial BDO, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing prospects and new clients in the Middle Market segment of Corporate Banking. This role is also responsible for developing sales strategies and maintaining and expanding referral sources.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Developing sales strategies and maintaining and expanding referral sources.
  • Gathering and maintaining prospect data and maintaining marketing materials to be used in the selling process.
  • Participating in community organizations and activities and assisting prospective customers in the onboarding process.
  • Meeting clearly established Financial goals.
  • Aggressively covering the market in order to add new clients and Grow market share.
  • Sources prospects and develops new customer relationships.
  • Manages deposit intense business banking and Middle market Commercial customer base.
  • Grows revenue by successfully prospecting for new business and by retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Monitors and enhances profitability of all assigned relationships. Cross sells all bank products groups to existing and new customers.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Successful track record of developing and maintaining business relationships/sales skills required.
  • Experience with a Commercial Bank, Treasury Solutions or International Payment Provider a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work internally and externally to manage and grow new relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Dodd-Frank regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and collaborating across an organization
  • All banking and sales backgrounds will be considered for the right candidate with a high learning acumen


  • Bachelors degree is required
  • MBA a plus

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
