Job Description

The Private Wealth, Senior Financial Planning Analyst is a strategic partner in delivering sophisticated financial planning solutions to high-net-worth clients. This role supports wealth management teams by providing expert analysis, customized planning, and proactive client engagement. The ideal candidate is a seasoned financial professional with exceptional analytical capabilities, a collaborative approach, and a deep commitment to helping clients achieve their long-term financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently develop and present comprehensive financial plans tailored to the unique needs of high-net-worth individuals and families.

  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying planning opportunities and supporting client acquisition efforts.

  • Address complex wealth management issues, including estate planning, tax strategies, retirement planning, and risk management.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze client financial data to support investment strategies and holistic planning recommendations.

  • Create and maintain advanced financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to guide strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and external specialists to deliver integrated and effective financial solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.

  • Active FINRA licenses: SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65).

  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation is required.

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a client-centric mindset.

  • Proven ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and industry best practices.

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Location: Citizens Private Bank, 2nd Floor; Boston, MA
