Job Description
Client Service Associates (CSAs) within the Private Bank play a critical role in delivering a concierge white-glove experience to our high-net-worth clientele. The CSA is part of a dynamic team that supports complex lending and deposit needs, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional service throughout the client lifecycle. This role offers exposure to sophisticated banking solutions and client relationship management, providing a strong foundation for advancement into other roles within the Private Bank.
This position is based in our San Diego office.
The Private Bank Client Service Associate assists clients with the loan application process and services their needs post-loan close. The CSA has or will develop a foundational understanding of the loan origination process as well as servicing channels for mortgage and deposit requests. The CSA also assists with credit analysis and prequalification, though specific loan product is dependent on their respective Relationship Manager.
Primary responsibilities include
- Respond to client inquiries and servicing requests in a timely manner (response within 30 minutes, solution within 1-2 business days, varying on complexity).
- Assists their respective relationship manager with coordinating client meetings, events, and gifts. Manages the active loan pipeline, assisting the client from the preapproval stage, through underwriting, closing, and post close:
- Pre-qualifications and documentation analysis for prospective clients.
- Answering questions about Initial Loan Estimate.
- Working closely with the Lending Specialist/ Client Relations Manager to obtain additional needed documentation.
- Working closely with their Preferred Banker to obtain additional documentation for deposit relationship opening, ensuring this is completed in the pre-approval stage.
- Coordinating with escrow to schedule their loan closing post approval, and assisting with coordinating client's down payment to escrow.
- Answering client questions on closing disclosure and loan documents.
- Ensuring client is set up with online tools for viewing and managing their mortgage
- Field deposit related operation requests, including wires and transfers, assistance with online banking support, obtaining statements and tax documents, research requests, and more.
- Assist with preparing pre-approval letters, commitment letters, term sheets, and/or letters of intent
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- 3+ years experience in loan servicing/process or related financial services working with high net worth or private bank clientele required
- Demonstrated success working in fast-paced time sensitive environment required
- Bachelors degree preferred in business or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent follow up, organizational and time management skills
Hours & Work Schedule
- Hours per Week: 40 hours, In Office required 4 days a week
- Work Schedule: Mon- Fri
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $35 - $47 per hour plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
