Job Description
As the HR Project Manager on the Talent Matters team, you help deliver initiatives that advance Citizens’ HR transformation journey. This position is ideal for the individual who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about reimagining how HR delivers value across the organization.
You will manage high-impact projects that modernize and optimize HR processes, systems, and experiences. From planning and execution to stakeholder engagement and performance tracking, you ensure initiatives are delivered with precision and aligned to transformation goals.

Key responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
- Manage end-to-end Talent Matters project delivery and timelines. Monitor progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for adoption campaigns, ongoing sustainment. and measuring progress / scorecard. Monitor and provide routine program status and adoption KPIs.
- Guide storytelling to executive leadership through progress updates and roadmap visibility.
HR Transformation & Process Optimization

Lead efforts to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and implement best practices that enhance HR service delivery.
Adoption & Sustainability:
- Support colleague engagement with skills, profiles, gigs, and mentoring opportunities.
- Partner with the Change Lead to design and execute interventions that embed new ways of working.
- Activate Gig Champions to create an expert community as an extension the CTM team to deploy local tactics.
- Collaborate with HRDPs, DCs, BPs, business leaders to champion adoption and deepen engagement.
- Develop and deliver leader enablement resources (playbooks, toolkits, talking points).
Continuous Improvement:
- Conduct discovery, identify adoption challenges and design solutions (process, communications, integrations).
- Capture lessons learned from adoption campaigns and apply them to future cycles.

- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement – Builds strong partnerships across HR, business, and technology teams.
- Data-Driven Mindset – Uses adoption data and insights to inform strategy and measure outcomes.
Experience & Attributes:
- 3–5 years of project management, HR transformation, or organizational change management experience.
- Demonstrated success in driving technology platform adoption (Talent Marketplace).
- Strong track record of stakeholder engagement and leadership influence.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills; proactive and adaptable.
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Experience driving change engagement
Hours and Work Schedule:
- Hours per Week: 40
- Location: Johnston RI
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4 days in the office, 1 day remote.
