As the Finance Analyst, you will provide financial analytics, reporting, and budgetary awareness using various financial systems, data information systems, and scheduling systems to key business leaders. You will work collaboratively with other financial staff in a team environment and support initiatives that will improve financial processes. Additionally, you will be a key player in providing insight and recommendations to key business leaders to ensure the business line is staying within budget forecasts and general targets. You will be responsible for continuously consulting business partners and researching trends to ensure your recommendations and forecasts are up to date.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Support Expense analytics and P&L for the Commercial Banking Division.
  • Run expense schedules, update and ensure system numbers are accurately represented
  • Assist with Commercial FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Work with members of the Commercial FP&A team to understand financial trends and explain variances to budget, forecast, and prior period.
  • Prepare materials for the Commercial Monthly Review (CMR), Monthly Business Review (MBR), and other senior management presentations.
  • Provide financial reporting, invoice tracking, accrual process, and expense analysis support for Commercial Operations, Portfolio Management, and in-business Risk teams.
  • Help build and maintain financial models related to strategic plans, initiatives, and other business priorities.
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and other requests as needed.

Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

  • Bachelors degree
  • 2+ years FP&A experience
  • Banking knowledge especially Commercial Banking a plus
  • Financial modeling and analysis skills
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint knowledge
  • Hyperion Essbase/Smart View and wDesk a plus
  • Collaborative, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
  • Must demonstrate high energy, initiative, intellectual curiosity and creativity

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $73,000 - $101,800 per year. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the
budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
