JOB PURPOSE


Our growing agency is seeking an experienced Senior Paid Media Analyst to lead our paid advertising performance optimization efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing performance across all paid media platforms, identifying optimization opportunities, and conducting rigorous testing to maximize campaign effectiveness and ROI for our clients.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Analyze performance data across all paid media platforms (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Amazon, etc.) to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments to improve campaign performance, including ad creative, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and landing page elements
  • Develop comprehensive reporting dashboards and data visualizations focused on paid media KPIs including CTR, CPC, CPM, conversion rates, ROAS, and incrementality metrics
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover performance insights and make data-driven recommendations for budget allocation, audience expansion, and creative optimization
  • Partner closely with the media buying team to implement testing strategies and optimization recommendations across campaigns
  • Present analytical findings, test results, and strategic recommendations directly to clients in a clear, actionable format
  • Stay current on platform updates, new testing methodologies, and paid media measurement best practices
  • Manage complex analytics projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery of insights that drive campaign improvements
  • Mentor junior analysts on paid media testing frameworks and performance analysis techniques

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in paid media analytics, performance marketing, or digital advertising optimization
  • Proven track record of designing and analyzing A/B tests and experiments across major paid media platforms
  • Advanced proficiency in platform-native analytics tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.) and third-party attribution tools
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with statistical analysis and testing methodologies, including significance testing and incrementality measurement
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills with ability to translate complex performance data into strategic recommendations
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with media buying and account management teams
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred (statistics, economics, marketing analytics, data science)
