CTP’s Public Relations team is seeking a full-time Senior Account Executive to work on our expanding and diverse portfolio of clients. The position is ideal for high-energy candidates with strong experience, a passion for media relations and creativity in communicating client stories. Our Senior Account Executives are responsible for developing and executing communications initiatives and should have strong writing and communications skills.

In this position, you will work collaboratively to create and execute innovative communications campaigns; accelerate your career development by working closely with some of Boston’s most accomplished PR, marketing, digital and creative leaders; stretch your creative thinking on a range of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead communications initiatives with clients and internal teams
• Draft pitches, press releases, op-eds, message points, blogs and other written content
• Work with teams to identify and execute timely communications opportunities
• Pitch reporters and secure stories
• Facilitate interviews and prepare client spokespeople
• Develop and enhance media relationships beneficial to clients
• Advise on social media amplification
• Track and monitor results to improve client approaches

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years in-house or agency experience
• Must have the ability to work in our Boston office 2x/week (Tuesday/Wednesday)
• Strong written and oral communications and presentation skills
• Track record of securing meaningful media coverage on behalf of clients
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with key media and influencers
• Ability to successfully and simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities
• Strong work ethic, high energy, with a track record of following through with high-quality deliverables on schedule and on budget in a fast-paced, growing, and changing environment
• Ability to think quickly, strategically and effectively
