CTP is looking for someone who lives to tell great stories. Human stories. Powerful stories. You’ll be a part of a gifted creative team, collaborating with writers, designers, art directors and producers to make amazing, memorable content. From concept to post. You bring an ability to shoot, edit, add color and create sound to bring ideas to life. With a personality that loves to share the credit, and plays well with others. Animation and motion graphics are a plus. 

Responsibilities would include:

• Understands how a camera/lens tell a story
• Understands production design and all aspects of creative filmmaking
• Ability to shoot and edit video and digital content 
• Understanding of animation and motion graphics
• Knowledge of key digital and social video platforms
• Demonstrated editorial judgment and digital video production skills
• Knowledge of the creative software for post production 
• Ability to clearly communicate project goals to all members of the production team
• Ability to translate Creative Pitchback visuals into engaging video solutions that enhance and elevate the brand
• Provide on-set video art direction on shoot angles, styling, composition, lighting, etc.
• Collaborate with art directors, videographers, and stylists to ensure business and creative goals of each shoot are met while maintaining exceptional brand and video standards
• Stay current on industry trends and techniques
• Basic understanding of set lighting
• Basic understanding of audio equipment
• Track status of all active jobs and report progress to team
• Work with Producers and Project Management to develop schedules, prioritize work and ensure all deadlines are met
• Meet and coordinate with production partners as necessary
• Work on all aspects of post production: edit, music, mix, color correction
• Uphold the creative integrity and intention behind concepts through the production process

Requirements:

• Must have the ability to work in our Boston office 2x/week (Tuesday/Wednesday) or more depending on shoot and project needs
• Ability to travel independently to shoots, when needed
• 4-6 years of shooting/editing/storytelling experience
• A reel of work that showcases talent
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience with After Effects a plus
