Aetna's Medicare Stars Team is growing and expanding! This is exciting opportunity to join a high performing, collaborative team as a Sr Data Analyst. This position will be responsible for Developing, enhancing, and maintaining the dashboards and reports.
Designs, develops, and maintains complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
Interacts directly with key high-level stakeholders, end-users, and colleagues to design and develop Dashboards in Tableau.
Works with other teams to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to team.
Strong experience of data extracts, data blending, publishing dashboards.
Apply advanced technical, analytical and consultative skills utilizing an extensive knowledge of healthcare data, Tableau and information systems to develop and deliver reporting components that satisfy business needs within defined SLAs.
Expertise in working with BigQuery and Cloud SQL services offered by GCP eco system.
Experience in GCP Looker to create and maintain enterprise dashboards and derive insights.
Extensive knowledge of data visualization techniques and visual design concepts using Tableau
Lead, design and develop user friendly dashboards using complex health care datasets from different Medicare data sources.
Creates high performance Tableau reports that address strategic and tactical business needs.
Proficient in Python, Jupyter Notebooks, GitHub version controls, and SQL
Experience in Data Processing, expertise in developing Queries.
Good Knowledge in various phases of SDLC, Requirement Analysis, Design, Development and Testing on various developments and enhancement projects.
Implements best practices to ensure dashboard design consistency across all dashboards for best user experience.
Very good understanding of relational data structures and skilled in writing complex data analysis queries.
Provides technical expertise in areas of development, design, and implementation.
Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear, understandable presentations.
Ensure data quality and integrity in dashboards and reports.
Resolves support tickets related to Tableau reports.
Required Qualifications
3 or more years of relevant BI reporting tools or analytical experience
2 or more years of Tableau development skills required.
2 or more years of Python, GCP Looker and Big Query / Cloud SQL cloud platform
Strong SQL experience required (SQL Server preferred).
Strong written & verbal communication skills are required.
Strong reporting skills using Excel, Access, Word and/or PowerPoint.
Deep hands-on technical expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare, health insurance experience is preferred.
2 or more years of experience in SAP Business Objects Business Intelligence suite
Proficiency with Tableau Prep and Tableau server are a plus.
Education Degree in Computer Science, HealthCare Informatics, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, degree and/or the equivalent work experience in infrastructure technology disciplines.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,100.00 - $158,620.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
