The Manager, Health Plan Adherence Solutions (Strategy and Innovation) will directly influence and actively set the strategy for health plan medication adherence at CVS Pharmacy. The day-to-day experience of the role will vary from independently sourcing ideas to improve adherence, sizing novel opportunities, driving ad-hoc contractual analyses, generating impactful business insights, constructing business cases, and refining value propositions to support our partners in securing favorable contracts in the adherence product space. The manager is expected to have the ability to effectively communicate their work and provide clear recommendations to guide strategy. Acting in a self-directed manner, they will be tasked with leading workstreams and actively communicating initiative progress/results to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge / skill / ability:
- 3+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment
- 3+ years’ experience building high-performing teams.
- 3+ years’ experience engaging and inspiring teams to achieve both short-term, and long-term goals.
- 3+ years’ experience influencing without authority.
- Experience assessing value-based contract agreements and providing recommendations.
- Experience in creating roadmaps, tactical plans, playbooks, and governance processes is beneficial.
- Ability to lead business case creations or in collaboration with stakeholders, while making informed assumptions or working with limited information.
- Regular and reliable attendance during normal working hours, as established by the leader.
- Any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Ability, and willingness, to travel periodically, based on needs of the business.

- 8+ years’ experience influencing without authority.
- Knowledge of change management techniques a plus.
- Experience in creating playbooks and risk mitigation strategies.
- Have a strong understanding of health services and retail pharmacy product development.
- Experience conducting independent market research or exploratory analyses to discover novel solutions and guide product strategy.
- Experience designing, assessing, and optimizing medication adherence programs.
- Experience creating standardized measurement and reporting for tracking program performance.
- Ability to leverage qualitative and quantitative insights to refine program strategy and value propositions.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of health systems and health services, as well as health economics, epidemiology, and data management.
- Analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed to meet deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork and collaboration skillsets across a variety of business units and personality types.
- Ability to diagnose complex problems, seek insights beyond the immediately obvious, and recommend practical solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel and/or similar tools.
- Advanced degree (MBA/MPH)

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
