Position Summary

We have an exciting new opportunity in our Scottsdale, Arizona location! This position on our PBM Regulatory Reporting team will be responsible for driving data accuracy and process improvements to ensure timely delivery of regulatory and customer reports supporting current and future government reporting deliverables.

This position provides technical support for Center for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) Plan Finder program. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting quality control of price files, create monitoring tool required by new CMS requirements and create data visualizations to support management of regulatory reporting programs. You will be working with technical business partners to understand the price file creation process and inner workings of data tables to support the annual implementation process for the Medicare Plan Finder tool. This position will also investigate quality issues and recommend process improvements to ensure all government reports are running as efficiently and accurately as possible.

You will use your understanding of regulatory requirements, data architecture, and SQL/Python code to create new reports, support technical needs of regulatory reporting team, identify trends and data anomalies within government reports, etc. This position will interface directly internal business and technical stakeholders and data owners.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ work experience analyzing large amounts of data and supporting internal/external customers with data and reporting needs. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in supporting cross functional initiatives, along with demonstrated experience documenting and presenting perceptions in a comprehensible, concise and logical way.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a data infrastructure and ability to provide solutions to improve data quality/integrity
  • a. Proven experience leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, to display QC results and project status
  • b. Proven experience identifying data anomalies and providing quality assurance solutions
  • c. Proven experience with VBA, SQL, Python or other coding languages to produce ad hoc reporting requests
  • d. Ability to think critically and to multitask with timely follow through.

Preferred Qualifications

Able to identify root causes of problems, and develop and implement solutions, incorporating business needs and consulting management as needed. Includes business considerations in analysis and offers direction to keep projects aligned

Able to interpret instructions, ask analytical questions, validate report/query information, and detect flaws in requests or suggested methodologies

Experience with Smartsheets or other project management tools

Self-starter with ability to work with team members or independently on multiple projects with little supervision

Proven ability to complete projects independently and on time.

Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to work within a climate of ambiguity

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business, technical or related field OR equivalent experience (4 years’ experience and High School Diploma/GED) required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $102,000.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
