Position Summary
The Pharmacy Operations Senior Analyst role is an ambassador and subject matter expert for field and store team operations as it pertains to the oversight of policies and procedures to ensure our retail pharmacies are compliant with applicable retail compliance programs, state, federal, and Board of Pharmacy laws/regulations. This senior analyst will also lead a team that supports Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PMP) regulations through backend PMP reporting, PMP error corrections, and supplementary activity related to submission to PMP programs. This person will act as the functional liaison between legal/regulatory, IT partners, data vendors, and internal cross-functional teams in meetings and for projects related to ensuring compliance to state and federal laws and regulations, particularly related to State Controlled Substance Reporting programs. The senior analyst will have key decision-making responsibilities to deliver expected outcomes. This senior analyst may be tasked with additional ad hoc projects support related to RxConnect system enhancements, publishing store communications, and collaborating with key stakeholders to drive compliance solutions and execution on deliverables. Being comfortable wearing both the operational and technical hats of this role will be a key to success.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience serving as a mentor to direct and/or indirect reports

  • 3+ years of full-time work experience in a retail, field support, and/or corporate environment

  • 3+ years’ experience using RxConnect

  • 3+ years’ Pharmacy Operations experience

  • 3+ years’ experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials.

  • 3+ years’ experience analyzing and synthesizing data.

  • 3+ years’ experience successfully building reports and dashboards to communicate data trends and forecasts.

  • 3+ year experience analyzing regulatory/compliance related matters.

  • Demonstrated understanding of Pharmacy Operations

  • Proven ability to handle complex, detailed, data-oriented tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Proven ability to develop positive working relationships with others and lead others on projects with strong project management and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to work independently and make responsible decisions, including but not limited to independently managing conflicting priorities.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and ability to absorb complex technical processes.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfortable speaking with leadership team

  • Aptitude for learning and development

  • Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve shared goals.

  • Strong time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines.

  • SQL knowledge

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook

  • Travel- up to 10% travel may be required, based on needs of the business.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience managing teams with direct and/or indirect reports

  • 4+ years’ experience serving as a mentor to direct and/or indirect reports

  • 4+ years of full-time work experience in a retail and/or corporate environment

  • 4+ years’ experience using RxConnect.

  • 4+ years’ Pharmacy Operations experience

  • 4+ years’ experience building and delivering leadership-facing presentations and materials.

  • 4+ years’ experience analyzing and synthesizing data.

  • 4+ years’ experience successfully building reports and dashboards to communicate data trends and forecasts.

  • 4+ year experience analyzing regulatory/compliance related matters.

  • Ability to understand and use database software, such as Oracle, including writing basic SQL queries.

  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams

  • Experience building, and leading, a high-performing team

  • Advanced awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills

  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Ability to influence leaders to change thinking.

  • Advanced Degree

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
