Position Summary
**This position follows a hybrid model onsite in Washington DC**
The Government Affairs Public Policy Project Manager will be accountable for and manage the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of projects in support of Government Affairs. Housed within the fast-paced Public Policy office, the Project Manager will stay abreast of health-related events in the news, conduct basic research, make strategic recommendations, develop presentations, track tasks, assist in short- and long-term planning, collaborate with many entities across the CVS Health enterprise, develop draft executive and communication materials, and provide organization support.
Leads project teams or large, complex projects, including Department-wide knowledge management efforts, state legislative tracking, enterprise risk management and other financial reporting, supporting necessary work and measuring results.
Develops internal communications on legislation, regulation, or public policy developments.
Conducts research of public policy issues, legislation or regulations especially in states, emerging industry trends, legislative and regulatory proposals, and other relevant resources.
Prepares and formats advocacy and communications materials, including client presentations, policy papers, slide decks, issue briefs, executive summaries and talking points, for internal and external use. Proofread materials and provide copy editing of documents.
Proactively leads assigned projects by creating project timelines, identifying key milestones and additional resources needed to successfully complete the work.
Oversees short-term and long-term federal affairs projects and report out on project milestones, ongoing activities and results.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of a combination of healthcare government affairs, healthcare public policy analysis, and healthcare project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Medicare/Medicaid experience
Education
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent years of related experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$72,360.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
