Role Description:
The Inventory Management team is responsible for obtaining resources, managing supplies, and delivering goods and services to our providers, teams, and patients through close partnership with our external supply and equipment vendors as well as our contracted procurement services team. The Analyst position for Inventory Management will play an important role at Oak Street Health, in providing support to the Inventory Management team. This Analyst role supports seamless distribution of equipment and supplies to enable our care teams to deliver an Unmatched Patient Experience and provide the Best Care Anywhere since effective inventory management is the cornerstone of operational efficiency. This role is dedicated to ensuring that our 250+ locations have the necessary resources available while reducing waste and assisting in improving patient care by minimizing costs. This position requires effective communication with our center teams and leadership with our external vendors while reporting to the Sr. Manager for Inventory Management.
Core Responsibilities:
Serve as a subject matter expert on clinical and office supply inventory and procurement.
Monitor and maintain workflows for our hazardous waste program; act as the primary point of contact for hazardous waste vendors and the CVS Health, Safety & Environment team for all centers.
Maintain standardized supply formularies in our purchase ordering software.
Coordinate with our Facilities department and external equipment management company to ensure in-center equipment is functioning and up-to-date.
Monitor supply chain disruptions and manage supply allocation to ensure fair distribution and minimize impact to the supply needs of centers.
Support the sourcing & procurement of additional equipment or supply needs that are associated with new care model initiatives and assist with new product implementation plans.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the Clinical Operations, Learning, Population Health, Patient Safety and Expansion teams.
Provide daily management of off-formulary requests and approvals for both clinical and office supplies.
Inform centers of any known recalls or potential supply shortages.
Collaborate with the Clinic Operations Expansion team to have clinical and lab supplies ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
Review Clinical and Lab Supply Reconciliation Sheets for new centers and work closely with the center that all supplies have been received and reconciled.
Maintain user credential for specific in-clinic devices by creating logins for new centers and resolving login issues for centers.
Coordinate vaccine ordering and distribution during respiratory season and work with centers for vaccine returns at the end of the season.
Create and maintain Zio Patch accounts for new centers and communicate with leadership.
Coordinate with departments at CVS to support various team needs.
Complete other duties as assigned.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
1 year inventory management experience or 2 years in healthcare working with medical supplies required.
Knowledge of medical and lab supplies is preferred.
Excellent communication and listening skills - the ability to build relationships with our field teams to understand their needs.
Ability to work independently and professionally within the organization.
A highly collaborative nature, able to build trust quickly and work alongside a range of team members.
Problem solving skills necessary to manage day to day challenges.
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage logistics and initiatives and to track multiple streams of work simultaneously.
A flexible and positive attitude with the ability to navigate through change and ambiguity.
Proficient PC skills.
US work authorization.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $93,574.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
