Position Summary
The PBM Data Enablement Data Steward takes ownership of the data strategy for their assigned domain(s), ensuring that the domain’s data drives value across the organization. Together with the Technology Data Steward, they create a comprehensive data management vision, ensuring accountability for data governance metrics, data lifecycle management and compliance within one or more business data domains.
The Data Owner acts as a crucial liaison in promoting adherence to data strategies, policies, and standards among data users and allocates essential resources for initiatives. Their expertise enhances alignment between business and technology, improves data quality, ensures data management adherence, mitigates data risks, and encourages collaboration and business agility among teams.
This position requires an agile and collaborative individual who will partner with the PBM Customer Reporting & Data Operations Team,
Customer Reporting Product Team, Digital, Data, Analytics, & Technology (DDAT) Partners and
Other Business Cross-Functional Stakeholders,
to gather information and assist in guiding strategic direction of data governance consistent with enterprise standards. This role requires clear communication and ongoing engagement across PBM business units to ensure that data is easily accessible, and that the data needs of both our internal and external partners are being met.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work Hybrid Model (in office part-time during week) if reside near a HUB location.
- 5+ years of experience in a highly regulated, complex, data heavy environment.
- 5+ years of demonstrated organizational skills (e.g., project management experience or managing cross-team/department initiatives with demonstrated success).
- 7+ years healthcare experience.
- Experience collaborating with IT/Data organizations to set goals and oversee execution.
- Proven experience developing and executing business strategy in a technology context.
Preferred Qualifications
- PBM Experience
- Experience collaborating with agile technical teams as a subject matter expert, product manager, program manager, or product analyst
- Experience with popular BI platforms like Tableau and MicroStrategy
- Familiarity with relational databases and data architecture concepts
Education
Bachelor's degree required and/or an equivalent work experience

The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
