Position Summary

The Price and Promo Engineering Team is seeking a Sr. Analyst to partner with Sr. Engineers and a development scrum team to deliver internal-facing, custom web applications and services that enable day-to-day Price and Promotional operations for ecommerce and Front Store retail.

The Sr. Analyst will be accountable for the successful delivery of stable, secure, and “clean” code, participating with Sr. Engineers, Product Owners, and the development team to deliver assigned user stories and tasks.

The Sr. Analyst will partner with developers and QE engineers to ensure automation of testing of front-end and backend systems. The ideal candidate has experience delivering custom applications through their entire lifecycle: from conception and ideation to production and support. They think critically about the software their team delivers and are never satisfied with the status quo. They are comfortable interfacing with end-users, demoing software features, and assisting in UAT and testing cycles to ensure the product meets the client’s needs and is working as expected.


Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 Years Experience with Web Development as a developer or QA resource
  • 1-3 Years Experience interfacing between developers and end-users to gather requirements, test prototypes, gather and triage feedback
  • 2+ years experience with PHP and React Applications
  • 2+ years experience with Linux/MacOS to deliver software
  • 2+ years experience working in an agile scrum environment
  • 2+ years experience working with Jira to manage workloads
  • 2+ years delivering software for retail applications


Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to move and follow-through with projects and features through full development cycle: requirements, business analysis, code, QA, UAT
  • Thinks critically about improvements and solutions - is not satisfied with status quo
  • Comfortable working with remote co-workers and clients


Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,310.00 - $158,620.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
