Position Summary

The Supply Chain & Logistics systems, data, and analytics strategy manager will be a part of the team leading data modernization efforts for Supply Chain, which includes data ingestion, self-service, activation, and governance activities serving all teams across the business. You will support business teams directly to help service day-to-day data needs, build product requirements, help scale self-service analytics, and drive implementation and adoption of our long term data strategy and roadmap. You will also engage and partner cross-functionally with multiple IT, data science, and data engineering teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify, size, and develop opportunities for data modernization for Supply Chain via analytics, research, user interviews

  • Deliver data as a product to Supply Chain teams by supporting cloud migration projects, owning delivery of data pipelines from multiple sources, and determining data strategy

  • Lead business requirements gathering for projects under the data modernization umbrella, mapping underlying processes and guiding scope definition while calling out opportunity and risk

  • Evaluate buy vs build opportunities and solutions

  • Monitor and report on costs, performance, and key results

  • Create playbooks and documentation around data as our single source of truth, overall Supply Chain data governance and quality, and other strategic content


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain related roles

  • 2+ years of SQL experience

  • 2+ years of experience with big data and cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Azure, Google Cloud

  • 2+ years of experience with BI tools like ThoughtSpot, PowerBI, Tableau

  • 2+ years of experience working with data from disparate data sources both structured and unstructured, along with knowledge of data science and engineering principles

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%


Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong business acumen and technical communication skills

  • A willingness to solve business problems and find creative solutions by leveraging data

  • Familiarity with developing data architecture in cloud
  • Managing a data migration
  • Familiarity with data governance
  • Support for advanced analytics
  • Familiar with budgeting and finance / capital management in corporate environment
  • Master's degree or MBA


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Supply Chain, STEM, Finance, Management and/or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
