Position Summary

CVS Health is seeking a senior manager to join our Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness (PCW) Communications team, focused on developing and executing robust communications strategies to support retail pharmacy initiatives as we work to deliver exceptional care to patients. As an individual contributor, you are a strategist and storyteller who learns the unique needs of our different audiences; you are adept at developing the full strategic plan for engagement and activation across our communications channels, including the intranet, custom apps and tools, emails, newsletters, digital signage and in-person and virtual meetings. You will be a key strategic partner within the Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness organization and beyond, collaborating across the enterprise to achieve our communications goals. You will bring new ideas to the table that keep our colleagues informed and inspire them with the work our colleagues are doing.

Your areas of focus will include:

  • Developing and executing the communications strategy and roadmap to drive awareness of our retail pharmacy programs, strategy and colleague, customer and community impact within the PCW organization and enterprise as a whole
  • Growing strong relationships with partners across the enterprise with colleagues at a variety of levels, both within and outside of Enterprise Communications
  • Researching, developing, recommending, and executing communications strategies that foster our retail strategy and communications goals
  • Leveraging your deep expertise to identify and provide recommendations for enhancements to our communications strategy to drive more impactful results and colleague engagement
  • Preparing materials and presentations in a way that adds value, is easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise and demonstrates results and impact. Communicates and influences at all levels of the organization.



Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant Communications experience that includes professional writing and editing, content marketing, and/or digital marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Business or related field required.



Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in internal communications and change management programs or equivalent education/experience
  • Superb writing, editing, and proofreading skills for websites and digital properties using AP Style
  • Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong track record in managing change with an understanding of the contexts, cultures and other factors that drive forward adoption of changes
  • Comfort meeting with and presenting plans to senior leaders and executives
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with other professionals in a matrixed organization toward a common goal
  • Strong verbal communications skills with the ability to listen, articulate your ideas and advocate best practice solutions for content



Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Public Relations, Business or related field required.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
