Lead Director of Marketing

As Lead Director of Marketing, you’ll spearhead strategic marketing initiatives across the full customer lifecycle—driving brand awareness, demand generation, go-to-market strategy, product marketing, and customer retention. You’ll lead and grow a high-performing team, partnering cross-functionally to scale RubiconMD’s impact in virtual specialty care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and execute an annual integrated marketing plan and budget aligned with revenue targets, sales, and company objectives.

  • Mentor and develop a results-oriented marketing team across product, demand generation, content, and analytics.

  • Lead full-funnel campaigns: brand awareness, acquisition, engagement, retention, and advocacy.

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and collaboration .

2. Product, Content & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Define value propositions, positioning, and messaging for core RubiconMD solutions and new feature releases.

  • Develop and maintain a quarterly content calendar to ensure consistent content deployment across all RubiconMD channels.

  • Lead GTM execution for launches, working with Product, Sales, and Customer Success .

3. Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth

  • Build multi-channel campaigns (digital ads, email, events, webinars), use ABM tactics and SEO/SEM best practices .

  • Analyze campaign ROI and iteratively optimize .

4. Sales & Customer Enablement

  • Create robust sales enablement tools— case studies, presentation decks, impact reports—and equip teams for success .

  • Work with Customer Success to drive retention programs, upsells, industry events, and advocacy.

5. Event Marketing

  • Develop an annual event marketing strategy along with growth leadership and oversee all in-person event logistics to support demand generation and client relationships

  • Work with the Clinical and Specialist Network teams to develop an annual CME webinar calendar to promote client trust and retention. Oversee the promotion and execution of the CME webinars.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with a strong preference for healthcare or health‑tech experience .

  • Proven success leading marketing teams, planning GTM strategies, and driving revenue growth.

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with metrics: ROMI, ROAS, pipeline performance .

  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology: Salesforce, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEO tools, analytics platforms.

  • Excellent communication abilities, with experience in sales enablement, customer positioning, and content leadership.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare SaaS, virtual care, or value-based care environments.

  • Familiarity with ABM, product-led growth models, and enterprise GTM strategies.

  • Comfort working in mission-driven, agile teams that value continuous innovation.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$100,000.00 - $231,540.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
