Position Summary
As the Credentialing Data Systems, Database Admin, you'll be the backbone of our healthcare organization's data operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring the overall integrity, seamless integration, and insightful reporting of our credentialing data. Your work will directly support efficient credentialing operations, uphold regulatory compliance, and empower informed decision-making across the organization.
You'll achieve this by collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and vendors to manage and optimize our data and reporting processes. Serve as the SME in troubleshooting and representing the department in vendor meetings. Provide education to the department staff when upgrades and enhancements are implemented. Must have the ability to perform gap analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Must be able to obtain MD Staff certification within 1 year of role placement
Data Systems Management & Integrity
Manage and maintain the credentialing database, ensuring data is consistently accurate and complete.
Monitor data for discrepancies and proactively ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data entered into the system.
Develop and implement robust data quality checks and validation processes to uphold data integrity.
Track and ensure compliance with all data security and confidentiality protocols, including access permissions.
Data Integration
Design and maintain efficient data integration workflows across various systems.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data requirements and facilitate smooth data exchange.
Build and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to streamline data movement.
Support system upgrades and testing specifically related to data interfaces.
Monitor integration processes and swiftly resolve any data-related issues that arise.
Reporting
Generate both standard and ad-hoc reports for all internal teams, providing critical insights.
Create compelling data visualizations to make complex information easily understandable.
Present reports to internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating findings.
Ensure all reporting adheres to established department standards for consistency and accuracy.
Basic Qualifications
1 or more years of relevant experience in data management, integration, or reporting, preferably within a healthcare or credentialing environment
Proven experience with data management in credentialing software, specifically MD Staff, is highly desired
Familiarity with credentialing clinician applications and payor enrollment is also highly valued
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also being a collaborative and supportive team player

The typical pay range for this role is:
$21.10 - $40.90This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
