About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Analyst to join our technology-forward team within the Statutory Reporting department within CVS Health’s Health Care Business unit. You will play a crucial role in managing and streamlining our reporting processes for our health, life, and California based entities. Furthermore, your expertise will drive our strategy by enhancing our data analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and streamline our centralized journal entries.
  • Support core deliverables for statutory filing and reporting.
  • Implement technology solutions to automate tasks and enhance data analysis.
  • Present to teams, assimilate feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Review and ensure the quality of core reporting deliverables.
  • Expand technological knowledge and skills in relevant areas.
  • Independently manage tasks while thriving in a collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting or similar finance related role working with financial ledgers.
  • 1+ years of experience with Power Query.
  • 1+ years of experience working in VBA.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (must know how to do formulas and pivot tables)
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement from inception to completion.
  • Exceptional documentation and presentations skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Python, SQL, and/or Power Bi.
  • Passionate about technology, data, and digital strategies.
  • Ability to navigate complex tasks independently and within a team.
  • Eagerness to constantly expand technological knowledge and skills.
  • Innovator and problem-solver, driven to enhance efficiency through technology.
  • Strong ability to learn new technologies and adopt excellent development practices.
  • Outstanding analytical skills, driven by innovation and a forward-thinking approach.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
