Position Summary
The Cash/Reconciliation Senior Analyst position will primarily be engaged in activities related to the tracking and guided resolution of disputes on manufacturer rebate invoices. This includes working closely with internal partners outside of Operations, such as Trade Relations / Legal / Accounting and external partners such as Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.
With disputes being the focus, this position will also provide periodic backup support to the Rebate Cash Team responsible for providing analytical insight on rebate payments, outstanding amounts, distributions, and reconciliation activities.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Guide Reconciliation team members in appropriately tagging/logging rebate dispute information
- Manipulate and analyze dispute data to identify trends in aging and resolution
- Provide ad hoc analysis to address internal inquiries
- Facilitate the escalation of disputes to Trade Relations and/or Legal
- Host recurring meetings to facilitate action plans across various teams to accelerate dispute resolutions
- Participate in the drafting of official communications to pharmaceutical manufacturers where necessary
- Curate high-level reporting for executive leaders on largest disputes and latest updates
- Contribute to process improvement and modernization
- Validate end-to-end processing of financial transactions to ensure system alignment.
- Administer and track late fee invoices and subsequent communications to ensure prompt payment within contract terms.
- Distribute cyclical reporting to senior leadership, including but not limited to payment timeline forecasts, daily distribution activity and collection actuals against FP&A forecasting.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of financial or analytical experience
- At least 3 years of Microsoft Excel experience (must know how to do formulas, VLOOKUPS, and pivot tables).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Power Query.
- Experience with contract administration, financial and / or data analysis, data-mining, cash reconciliations, and complex processes is beneficial.
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
- PBM or pharmaceutical manufacturer experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical products preferred.
- Contract interpretation experience is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Math, or Economics preferred (or equivalent work experience).

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $122,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
