Position Summary
- Triage, analyze, determine root cause, and resolve InsPro system production unexpected results:
- Analyze and determine root cause of unexpected production issues related to the functionality of the InsPro Insurance Administration System (Agent Configuration, Commissions Configuration, Product Configuration, Premium Configuration, Claims Configuration, Document Configuration).
- Determine impact of production related issues - how often the issue occurs, impact to customers, business effort to deal with issue, ability to detect the issue.
- Consult with specific SSI Business Areas in order to collaborate with InsPro Technologies in the root cause and resolution of InsPro production and testing issues. Create Service request documentation (activity being attempted, expected results, actual results, business impact, sample data), enter service request ticket, respond to and update SR ticket as information changes. Assist with evaluating priorities across all SSI Teams/Departments.
- Collaborate with SSI testing team in specific business areas during InsPro system release testing - assist with defect resolution. Explain InsPro functionality, recommend use cases, analyze unexpected testing results.
- Execute/lead remediation of production issues - creating SQL queries to collect relevant data; creating excel workbooks to calculate difference between expected and actual results; developing plans/methods to update policies, premiums, agent commissions, claims. Executing remediation plans.
- Track, update, and report on InsPro System Production Issues and Work Requests in Workfront.
- Be able to use SOAP to create APIs to interact with the InsPro System for root cause analysis and analyzing/understanding InsPro System functionality
- Attend and periodically run daily production meeting to track and coordinate resolution of open issues; coordinate triage of new InsPro production issues
- Collaborate in meetings with New Business, Agent Licensing and Commissions, Policyholder Service, Call Center, and Claims and Business Analysis teams to discuss InsPro System issues, system modifications, and ways to utilize the InsPro system to more fully meet the needs of the business.
- Assist with implementation of InsPro System Releases into test and production regions.
- Configure, test, and audit InsPro system premium re-rating.
- Monitor outsources operations via reports, and SQL queries to validate business/third party administration interactions are working as expected. Be able to investigate and determine root causes of issues.
- Document WorkFront System InsPro System Production Issues and Work Requests with issue updates and data.
- Create InsPro system functionality documentation for Business Support Team
Required Qualifications
- Deep understanding of InsPro System InsPro system functionality (member enrollment, agent administration and commissions, premium administration, policy administration, claims administration, and correspondence).
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with SQL and database tables. Able to use, modify, create and troubleshoot more than simple queries.
- Advanced knowledge level and use of MS Excel (formulas and organization; lookups, pivot tables, analysis)
- High level knowledge of SSI business processes.
- Experienced in collaboration and communication with cross functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Detailed understanding of how the InsPro System interacts and interfaces with business and vendor technology architecture.
- Experience with using SOAP or similar tool to create APIs

The typical pay range for this role is:
$18.50 - $35.29This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
