Role Description
The Growth Effectiveness team at Oak Street Health plays a critical role in maximizing the number of people Oak Street Health serves. The team is part of the organization's broader Growth Team which enables Oak Street Health to engage with adults on Medicare by introducing them to our innovative and transformative approach to providing high-quality primary care. The Growth Effectiveness team is specifically focused on driving strategic initiatives to increase new patient growth, forecast annual growth targets, and decrease customer acquisition costs.
The Analyst,Growth will report into the Manager, Growth Strategy and Analytics. This role will support a variety of ongoing efforts to increase our new patient growth. Specific efforts will include data analytics and reporting, developing analysis to drive decision-making, supporting Growth teammates in central and field roles to accelerate growth. This role will leverage Oak Street’s growing data insights to design and implement new initiatives and programs to improve Growth.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving, data analysis, communication, and project management skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and contributes to the team both with their experience and their ideas on how we can improve.
Core Responsibilities

Drive strategic analyses and develop data-driven insights to support New Patient Growth programs
Build and analyze large-scale datasets to uncover trends, link operational actions to financial outcomes, and surface key opportunities for new patient growth
Communicate analytical insights clearly across various levels of the organization, from regional leadership to the Chief Growth Officer
Develop and maintain high-visibility tools and dashboards (e.g., daily operational reports) to help field and central teams monitor growth and efficiency
Serve as the project manager and analytical engine for initiatives driving incremental new patient growth
Collaborate with program leaders to develop and iterate on new processes

Engaging with Central and Field Growth teammates on trends and analytical requests
Provide timely, accurate responses to inquiries on growth performance and analytics
Support Field leadership with ad hoc analyses, performance deep-dives, and strategic planning
Monitor data quality and integrity, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies in reporting
Conduct root cause analyses to address performance gaps and recommend solutions
Build predictive models and scenario analyses to forecast patient volumes and program impact

What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree required, with a preferred focus in project management or healthcare administration
0-2 years of relevant experience
High level of organization and detail orientation
Experience collaborating on projects across multiple departments
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required, and preferred experience with other standard analysis tools (SQL, Alteryx, and/or PowerBI a plus)
Strong intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability
Ability to navigate leadership and operational complexities
Passion for excellence, willing to go the extra mile to achieve objectives and ensure consistently high quality work product
Quick learner comfortable with ambiguity
Strong accountability and discipline against timelines and deliverables

The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $93,574.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
