Position Summary
We are looking for a Non-Production Environment Engineering Lead to drive environment refresh, configuration management, and automation across enterprise platforms. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for streamlining operations, and a desire to engineer scalable, secure, and efficient data workflows. The selected candidate will also be expected to learn and support Delphix as part of the team’s evolving data strategy.
This role is part of the Non Production Environment Engineering team, supporting enterprise-wide non-production and production-adjacent environments. The position focuses on engineering-driven refresh and configuration management, with a strong emphasis on automation, data orchestration, and cross-functional coordination. The selected candidate will also be expected to learn and support Delphix as part of the team’s evolving data strategy.
The position requires collaboration with business, QA, release delivery, infrastructure, and vendor partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Competent, self-starter with ability to identify and bring forward ideas to improve the overall support of NextGen platform.
- Understanding of data and data masking requirements.
- Design and implement automated environment refresh processes using Linux scripting and orchestration tools.
- Collaborate with DBAs, infrastructure teams, and vendors to align refresh schedules and dependencies.
- Engineer solutions for cloning, masking, and provisioning production-like data across environments.
- Maintain configuration alignment and data synchronization across multiple environments.
- Automate data loading and validation routines for lower non-production environments.
- Build dashboards and reports for environment health, data sync status, and masking validation.
- Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes.
- Lead technical planning and execution across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Learn and apply Delphix virtualization and masking capabilities to support environment refresh and data compliance.
- Proven success with achieving highest levels of customer satisfaction.

- Understanding of delivery process via SAFE/AGILE methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; comfortable communicating with all levels of the company to include Senior Leadership and software vendor partners.
- Demonstrated experience with Configuration Management, monitoring Tools and Documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in dynamic cross-competency teams with issue resolution.
- 3+ years of experience with complex systems and solving challenging analytical problems.
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Knowledge or experience with all of the following:
- AppDynamics (i.e., transaction analysis, dashboarding, and alerting)
- Splunk (i.e., data analytics, dashboarding, reporting, and alerting)
- relational databases and DML for SQL queries and Linux shell commands
- Event and incident management across multiple teams.
- MS Project, Excel and Smartsheet.
- Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Possess Medicare and Individual Family Plans business acumen including understanding of business flows from enrollment to claims processing through to downstream workflows.
- Competent, self-starter with ability to identify and bring forward ideas to improve the overall support of the NextGen program.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, negotiation, problem resolution and decision-making skills.
- Strong facilitation and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to manage detailed information and volume of information with attention and quick recollection.
- A willingness to learn applications and company masking policies.
- Be a confident member of an evolving team that is willing to work hard to make a difference for peers, business and other IT professionals.

Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to data masking, virtualization, or similar technologies (Delphix preferred but not required).
- Experience working in or leading dynamic, cross-disciplinary teams through issue resolution.
- Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodology experience.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field, or equivalent experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
