Position Summary
This role is part of a team responsible for developing and executing network and mail pricing strategies for CVS Health, a Fortune 500 company. As a Senior Analyst, you will provide subject matter expertise and operational support for pricing implementations across Employer, Health Plan, and Government segments. You will lead the configuration and validation of pricing setups, ensuring accuracy across pharmacy claims adjudication platforms by applying appropriate business rules, network structures, and pricing documentation. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining client satisfaction and supporting business goals.
The position requires collaboration with internal teams such as Account Management, IT, Implementations, Benefits, and senior leadership, and may involve direct client interaction. You will support ongoing and future pricing and product initiatives, including technology integration and testing. Additional responsibilities include claims data analysis, process documentation, and audit preparation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and intermediate technical skills are important for data analysis and navigating internal systems. Experience in compliance-driven environments such as Sarbanes-Oxley, SAS-70, and familiarity with Medicaid, Medicare, and state regulatory requirements is preferred. A solid understanding of claims adjudication processes, platform functionality, and implementation workflows is also helpful.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of operational experience within PBM or Health Care industry.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years PBM or Health Care industry experience.
Six Sigma belt certification.
Intermediate knowledge of CVS Caremark network programs and procedures, including knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and claims adjudication proficiency.
Fundamental project management knowledge and/or demonstrable experience is helpful.
Operations experience in a volume heavy environment with strict deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by successful collaboration to achieve common and shared goals across business teams.
Effective time management skills, evidenced by experience being accountable to multiple deliverables on staggered deadlines.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite of tools including Excel and Access desired.
Effective communication skills in both formal and informal written communications and speech at all levels of an organization.

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $102,000.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
