Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, Financial Operations manages financial transactions, reconciles accounts, prepares financial reports, and ensures compliance with financial policies and regulations. Applies in-depth expertise in financial systems and processes to maintain accurate financial records, process payments, and contribute to the efficient operation of financial activities within the organization.
Specifically, this candidate will be responsible for:
- Develops complex budget insights based on analyses of historical financial data and considerations market trends and business strategies to contribute to the creation of accurate financial plans.
- Works closely with Account Team members on changes to clients and implementing those changes to the system
- Communicates internally and externally to prepare financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance with accounting standards, and effective communication of financial information.
- Conducts routine cost analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
- Identifies opportunities for streamlining financial workflows, automating manual processes, or implementing new financial systems or technologies.
- Examines data related to claims, denials, and collections to optimize revenue generation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance requirements.
- Implements financial modeling and scenario analysis to provide insights for strategic initiatives, such as mergers, acquisitions, or new service line development
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years’ work experience in an Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or similar field role.
- Microsoft Office Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to work with a highly accountable team in a fast-paced environment and quickly learn complex computer applications
- Communicate effectively and uphold excellent customer service and demeanor in challenging situations and escalated calls
- Knowledge of the SAP Financial System, Apttus, and/or Salesforce
- Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) Certified Professional preferred
- Desire to grow within role and within the organization as a whole
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree required and/or an equivalent work experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, or similar field preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
