Position Summary:
This role is part of Aetna’s Small Group Account Management Team. Sr Analyst, Account Mgt position (Account Managers) are important partners to the Account Executive in helping support our Broker and Consultant relationships for our mutual customers. The account manager should take ownership of the following service aspects for our Small Group Commercial Business (Employer Group Health Insurance Plans with 2- 200 enrolled employees):
What you will do
- In partnership with Account Executives, helps support a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring high levels of broker and consultant service satisfaction, customer retention, and account growth.
- Supports monthly utilization and enrollment reporting needs and meeting all required deadlines
- Identify trends and root cause to resolve issues in a timely manner using client data
- Initiates routine business inquiries to brokers, for discussion on topics of interest, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations to optimize account outcomes.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders, such as sales, member services, and product teams, to align account strategies, deliver value-added solutions, and enhance customer and member experiences.
- Plan and deliver open enrollment presentations to showcase account benefits, highlight Aetna tools and resources, and drive member engagement.
- Implements proactive account management and customer support, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth and positive broker experience
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client, broker or internal special projects
For this role you will need Minimum Requirements
- 3-5 years health insurance industry account management experience
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Resident State Producer License- Accident & Health (Required within 90 days of hire)
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred
High school degree may be considered with equivalent work experience

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
