Position Summary
A Brief Overview
Leads a team by providing strategic leadership and oversight for data-driven decision-making and program effectiveness. Develops and implements comprehensive data collection and analysis strategies. Leads the measurement and evaluation of programs. Oversees the creation of impactful reports and visualizations. Provides strategic recommendations based on data insights. Fosters collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring data governance and compliance, and driving continuous learning and skill development within the team. Manages and optimizes analytics processes, leveraging data for strategic planning, and guiding teams in delivering actionable insights to drive business outcomes.
What you will do
Set Analytics Strategy & Vision
- Works with cross-functional teams to get a deep understanding of product design, intended outcomes, and market competitors.
- Strategically define client reporting narrative, template, and partner with technical teams to bring the report from requirements to execution.
- Interface with senior leaders in the organization to share product insights obtained and provide your strategic recommendations on paths forward.
- Guide a team to use data-driven insights to provide accurate reports to executive-level management, stakeholders, and team members to ensure continuous growth and development of the business.
- Creates and maintains dashboards and reports that provide insights into key performance indicators that support the organization's continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strategically decide when to leverage data to support strategic decision-making to achieve the organization's goals and critical deliverables for business growth and continuous improvement.
- Creates and executes advanced analytics solutions in conjunction with the organization's critical deliverables to ensure improvement initiatives are successful.
- Manages and prioritizes multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring the key deliverables are within the scope of parameters, driving consistent business success.
- Creates protocols to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 7 + years of work experience in healthcare analytics, healthcare strategy, or actuarial sciences
- 5 + years execution and delivery experience (planning, delivering, and supporting)

- Adept at business intelligence
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills
- Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) preferred.
- Highly strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into executable plans.
- Proven ability to thrive in cross‑functional, highly collaborative environments.
- Strong capability to navigate ambiguity, define scope, and set clear boundaries.
- Demonstrated success working across both business and technical teams.
- Strong process discipline with solid project and program management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred; may consider comparable work experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
