Position Summary

We are seeking a PBM Digital Operations & Implementations Analyst to join our fast-paced, high-performance PBM Digital Operations team. Candidates must have a strong technology acumen, possess good organizational skills, and exhibit strong written and oral communication skills. Additional requirements include flexibility with schedule to work nights, weekends, and holidays at times when business needs warrant.

The ideal candidate would also have experience using, implementing and/or operating within web-based applications and healthcare and business knowledge. The candidate should also have a comfort level meeting with or presenting to technical and nontechnical groups as well as executives and clients as needed.

Job responsibilities include project implementation, requirements gathering, system setup, development of use cases, acting as a liaison between developers and users, assessing project readiness, software training and support of new client business with major organizations throughout the United States. In addition, operations prod support and troubleshooting, requirements gathering support and UAT testing are a portion of the responsibilities for this role.

The Digital Operations & Implementation Analyst has an understanding of the transformation areas, business themes, and opportunities available for exploitation.

Executing the digital vision prescribed by client leadership.
Realizing a return or an increase in customer satisfaction based on digital investments.
Increasing the communication of products and service offerings to the right audience.
Implementing systems that provide the ability for various groups to communicate efficiently and effectively.

Ensuring quality when troubleshooting and prod support needs are required.

  • Salesforce.com Digital Intake, task tracking and ensuring completion of milestones are successfully executed and on time. SFDC gatekeeper – monitor and assign cases – back up.
  • eScope or Implementation Project plan task management and completion (project management task tracking tool).
  • Communicate ongoing status and new risks/delays to Project Manager and requestors in a timely manner.
  • Open Enrollment (OE) Tools: Work with implementation/account teams and clients to define pre-enrollment tool requirements, build new links, update existing sites/links, and resolve issues/support OE tools
    • OE support - Build OE Tools (CDC & Pharmacy)
    • OE support – Update active OE sites (AEM, HTML sites)
    • OE support - Assist with troubleshooting of OE links.
    • Content - Update/Create Drug Lists on OE Sites & Caremark
    • Content - Update/Create Content for clients on caremark.com
    • Content - Update Monthly DSA updates (Drug Safety Alerts)
  • Personalization Configurations – Document requirements, open tickets for Engineering teams, validate personalizations for engineering on a rotating schedule.
  • UAT testing: Creates test plans to document and track verifications of configurations
  • Welcome Season Go live support – validations/troubleshooting Caremark.com, including registration validations for new carriers.
  • Caremark.com support – Tier 1 troubleshooting/issue resolution support
  • Testing support for UAT, Releases, NCQA etc.
  • Content Updates including Formulary Drug Lists and MedD monthly updates


Required Qualifications

  • Digital industry or software development experience
  • B2B client-facing experience
  • Health care industry experience preferred; PBM experience a plus
  • 2+ years' experience in consulting and/or implementing solutions leveraging a combination of customer technology strategy, future state architecture design.
  • Experience leading functional or technical teams at client sites on at least two complex full-lifecycle technology project implementations.
  • Experience designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions in client-facing and team leadership roles (e.g. technical lead, functional lead, work stream lead, project manager).
  • Experience in presenting to all levels; professional, poised, and confident to speak with clients, key stakeholders, and various levels within and outside of the organization



Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate complicated concepts and recommended courses of action to both internal business partner audience as well as external Client audience
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple open projects at the same time
  • Digital production support experience
  • Track record in taking on end-to-end ownership, clearly communicating timely status to stakeholders, problem solving and delivering issue-resolution
  • Ability to collaborate and work across multi-functional teams to deliver
  • Solid meeting facilitation and presentation skills

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $91,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
