Position Summary
The Product Manager, Data Platform is responsible for defining, delivering, and evolving a scalable, secure, and high‑value data platform that enables analytics, reporting, and data‑driven products across the enterprise. This role partners closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into platform capabilities, drive adoption, and ensure the platform delivers measurable value.
The Product Manager owns the platform vision and roadmap, prioritizes features and technical investments, and balances user needs with reliability, performance, governance, and long‑term scalability. Success in this role requires strong product judgment, comfort working in highly technical environments, and the ability to influence across multiple teams.
This role will focus on Tableau as a platform that supports around 15k users monthly.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, or a related role supporting data, analytics, or platform products
Proven experience owning product strategy, roadmap, and backlog for a platform or infrastructure product
Familiarity with BI Tools, data integration, and analytics workflows
Experience working closely with engineering teams using Agile or product‑oriented delivery models
Experience with internal product management
Experience working in highly matrixed, large organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Tableau, BigQuery, and Google Cloud Platform.
Experience supporting self‑service data, analytics enablement, or internal developer platforms
Strong understanding of data platform concepts such as data ingestion, storage, transformation, orchestration, analytics enablement, and governance
Knowledge of data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory considerations
Background collaborating with data engineers, analytics engineers, data scientists, and BI teams
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear value propositions for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a data‑driven approach to prioritization and decision‑making
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including influencing without direct authority
Education
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field. Relevant experience can be substituted for education.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$92,700.00 - $185,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
