The Executive Director, Aetna Interoperability Strategy is a senior enterprise leader responsible for setting, owning, and advancing Aetna’s enterprise-wide interoperability strategy across all business lines. This executive operates at the intersection of technology, policy, and business, translating complex regulatory, technical, and market dynamics into clear, actionable enterprise strategy for senior leadership and enterprise governance bodies. The Executive Director synthesizes multiple, often competing, roadmaps into a cohesive enterprise narrative, identifies strategic gaps and opportunities, and drives convergence, simplification, and value realization across Aetna’s interoperability portfolio.
As a visible enterprise leader and external ambassador, the Executive Director represents Aetna’s interoperability strategy internally across the CVS Health enterprise and externally with providers, vendors, regulators, and industry organizations. This role balances long-term (3–5+ year) enterprise vision with pragmatic, incremental execution that delivers measurable business, clinical, and regulatory outcomes.
