As the Lead Director of Human Resources Strategy for Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness HR team, you will partner to develop and execute on effective Human Resource initiatives that help drive the HR strategy for our Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness (PCW) team. Lead Director of PCW HR Strategy will serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the PCW Senior Vice President Human Resource Business Partner and her direct leadership team, who support the HR needs of over 200,000 CVS Health colleagues. The candidate will report directly to the Executive Director, HR Strategy and Chief of Staff, PCW.
In this role, the Lead Director of PCW HR Strategy will be a key player in building out the strategy and executing on the processes that enable our team to attract, develop and retain colleagues to PCW who bring our purpose to life. The Lead Director will lead key initiatives as well as special projects in collaboration with HR Business Partners, Center of Excellence partners, HR Shared Services, and leaders across our business segments. You will partner closely with Center of Excellence partners to create tools and operating routines that help ensure our HR business partners have what they need to successfully support our colleagues and business leaders. The candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with all the business leaders.
To successfully contribute to the HR strategy and growth, the Lead Director is specifically responsible for:
Strategy Development and Execution: Partner with HR Leadership to develop and execute both long- and short-term strategic plans for PCW. Help create and drive a cadence and process by which the team and key business partners measure and review progress against our key priorities.
Project Management and Support: Coordinate and drive planning, execution and implementation of HR cross functional, critical, and high impact projects that align to our key strategic pillars.
Business Consultant: Ability to identify key stakeholders and convey knowledge of their business to build trust and understand the leader’s objectives. Ability to provide valuable business insights that can help influence the leader to make informed decisions. Strong ability to work towards solutioning with the leader and create a step by process for the desired outcome.
Collaborative Problem Solving: Actively engage key partners in collaborative problem solving to drive decision making. This collaborative approach fosters a sense of ownership and ensure HR priorities well-integrated into the overall business strategy.
Trusted Advisor: Ability to position yourself as a trusted advisor to both HR and business leaders by demonstrating expertise and providing valuable insights on HR matters.
HR Metrics and Reporting: Partner with analytics teams to create views and routines to ensure the HR team has the data and tools to help monitor progress, assess complex problems, and deliver sustainable solutions. Must be comfortable compiling, analyzing, and presenting data.
Process Improvement: Challenge partners to think differently regarding HR and operational issues. Act as a thought partner and model creative problem-solving to impact business decisions.
Engagement: Help drive colleague engagement across the PCW HR and PCW team by ensuring we have the right touch points and cadence of communications with our colleagues. Help develop and move forward Engagement plans that are rooted in colleague feedback and data to help foster a best-in-class culture.
Required Qualifications
10+ years Human resources, Strategy, or Project Management experience or equivalent in another similar field

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
