Position Summary

The Senior Contract Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that the intent of contract negotiations is accurately captured in final documents and that version control is maintained throughout the agreement lifecycle. This role supports the CVS Specialty Pharmacy Trade group, collaborating with internal stakeholders and mid-sized to large pharmaceutical manufacturers on a variety of agreements including distribution, purchase, services, confidentiality, and settlement contracts.

All contracts must align with CVS Caremark’s current business strategies and receive approval from relevant business units, following established review and regulatory compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of the manufacturer agreement process
  • Maintain version control and manage redlines for assigned agreements
  • Customize and revise contract language to meet business needs
  • Track and document all stages of the agreement lifecycle
  • Ensure timely completion and execution of contracts
  • Facilitate contract review with internal teams and pharmaceutical manufacturers
  • Organize intent calls with cross-functional stakeholders to align on contract terms
  • Coordinate calls with manufacturer representatives and legal counsel to finalize agreements
  • Review final documents and secure all necessary internal approvals prior to signature

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of contracting experience and knowledge of contracting terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience in redlining documents


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, or the medical industry
  • Contract/clause drafting experience
  • Salesforce CRM
  • Conga CLM

Education
HS Diploma plus 5 years experience OR Bachelors Degree plus 3 years experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
