Position Summary
Supports the business by taking appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs typically tied to a key Aetna Medicaid provider communications. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communications strategies to effectively engage with practitioners, hospitals, and specialists within the Medicaid markets. Sets strategic communications direction for team and/or complex projects and or programs (e.g., national in scope which may impact one or all segments). Has full accountability for all aspects of communications projects and or programs collaboration with local markets and growth partners.

1. Develop and execute strategic communication plans to effectively communicate with practitioners, hospitals, and specialists, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including practitioners, hospital administrators, and specialist groups. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create, maintain, and distribute engaging content for various communication channels, including digital platforms, print materials, and presentations.

4. Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries and requests from provider engagement local markets, growth partners, and marketing, providing timely and accurate information.

5. Monitor industry trends and competitive activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in communication strategies. 6. Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of events, conferences, and other promotional activities targeting practitioners, hospitals, and specialists.

7. Measure and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.

8. Stay informed about relevant healthcare regulations and compliance requirements to ensure communication materials adhere to industry standards.

9. Other duties as assigned

10. Travel may be required (approx.. 15%)

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years' experience in one or more of the following areas: provider-facing operations, sales-facing operations, strategic partnership development, member experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with communication tools and platforms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment to solve challenging issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
  • Demonstrates flexibility to support rapid adjustments to strategy and priorities to meet changing business requirements.
  • Ability to effectively translate complex business workflows & processes in plain language to promote awareness and understanding.
  • Exhibits high curiosity, a coaching mindset, and a passion for stakeholder experience.
  • Conveys strong sense of urgency to drive issues to closure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 15%.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements preferred.



Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
