Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Reimbursement Economics and Analytics will be responsible for transforming the current deal model into a comprehensive “360‑view” model that evaluates internal data and market intelligence to drive decision-making. The objective of this role is to strengthen our intelligence by incorporating market and risk considerations directly into the analytical framework. This role will lead the development of multi-year financial roadmaps, incorporating a clear understanding of key risk factors. The Senior Manager will build the prototype model that incorporates competitive dynamics, alternatives, and patient impact considerations. This role sits at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and finance and requires strong critical thinking, communication, and the ability to work independently in a highly ambiguous environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience leading deal model transformations that incorporate external factors and real-world market dynamics (e.g., competitive share shifts and deal alternatives)

  • Strong financial modeling and strategic planning skills, including building and maintaining three-year financial roadmaps to support negotiations and long-range planning

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and operationalize key risk drivers, including breakeven analyses, scenario assumptions, and sensitivity trade-offs

  • Ability to translate complex analytical outputs into clear, negotiation-ready insights, including frameworks to compare deal options against competing alternatives and quantify impact to patient populations

  • Experience partnering cross-functionally (e.g., analytics, finance, strategy) to align on assumptions and outputs, while independently managing multiple workstreams and deadlines

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, finance, strategy, or consulting roles

  • Strong critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into clear conclusions and recommendations

  • Solid understanding of how value is created in complex financial/commercial models, including identifying core economic levers and key trade-offs

  • Proven ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, driving work end-to-end with strong prioritization and deadline management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus technical comfort working with relational databases and a working knowledge of SQL and/or Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, pharmacy, or the PBM landscape

  • Background in management consulting, corporate strategy, or advanced financial analytics

  • Experience building or enhancing complex deal, market, or scenario‑based models

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree

Education

Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
