Position Summary
**Qualified candidates for this role will reside in Florida for book of business and travel to client locations and Aetna office in Plantation as needed**
The Senior Account Manager will service strategy to ensure renewal and growth of business and retention of members for assigned accounts on Aetna's Southeast Public Sector & Labor Team.
Fundamental Components:
- Achieves individual growth/retention targets and customer satisfaction levels.
- Creates collaborative partnerships with sales to develop a comprehensive growth strategy for assigned book of business that is aligned with customers objectives, financial position and employee benefit strategy while providing cross-sell opportunities and profitable revenue and growth to Aetna.
- Executes tactical components of the account teams business plan for each customer. Demonstrates proactive ability to diagnose and fix root cause drivers of service problems.
- Develops and manages service plans in the most proactive and strategic manner possible, and finds new and innovate ways to show customers the value of the products and services they have purchased.
- Proactively identifies potential service issues and takes steps to resolve those service issues that arise.
- Takes the lead on management of the integration of clients and Aetna's internal organizations, with full responsibility for ensuring a smooth installation that will be a building block to gaining the trust of key client personnel.
- Educates customer on Aetna specific policies, product information, and procedures as well as industry issues and related current topics (e.g., HIPAA, health disparities).
Required Qualifications:
- Must be willing to travel to clients within Florida, as well as reside in Florida.
- Must be licensed to sell Life and Health products in Florida. If not currently licensed, this will be required within 60 days of employment effective date.
- Minimum 5 years sales and/or account management experience. Proven track record of maintaining customer accounts through exceptional service.
- Experience managing large and complex National Accounts.
- Strong relationship building skills in the health care industry.
- Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work with demanding clients. High level of organization and detail.
- Demonstrated experience leading client meetings.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working within the Public & Labor sector.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
